I bought some lovely olive tapenade in Trader Joe’s and thought of mixing it in the basic bread dough to create simple and very tasty rolls.

The recipe goes as following:

  • Make the dough
    • 3 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
    • 1 cup of warm water
    • 1 tbsp of instant yeast
  • Mix all ingredients – I used bread machine for that, but you can mix it by hands as wellimg_2070
  • Mix tapanade  in the dough – if it feels too liquid add some flour
  • Let it rise for 1 hour in room temperature
  • Bake for 50 min in 375F

The Trader Joe’s tapenade gives rolls  strong and intense flavors. Thus, they can be easily a dish itself or something you bake for a BBQ or bring to a picnic.

Enjoy!
