I love using jam for baking.It is another way of using jam and also gives a great texture to any cake.
Lately I made some peach jam in my bread machine and decided to bake some muffins with it.
You will need:
- 1 jar of jam (can be any kind)
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp of sour cream
- 2 tsp of baking powder
I did not use any additional sugar as jam already has a lot of it. The result is also not very sweet muffins, but they indeed taste very fresh (because of sour cream) and healthy (if that is possible for the muffins).
