I have started venturing out to flavored breads and for my first attempt I decided to bake bread with sunflower seeds. The idea behind it was that I had quite a lot sunflower seeds and really did not want to waste it.
So, the ingredients:
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 pack of active yeast
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 tbsp of sour cream
- 4 cups of whole wheat flour
This time again I have made first the dough in bread machine:
Let it raise for 1 hour in 100F temperature.
And baked it for 1 hour in 350F. The result is a soft bread.
